实验室两篇关于水声语音识别的论文被评为热点文章

The article entitled Design and Implementation of Time Frequency Differential OFDM Underwater Voice Communication System in the Journal of Xiamen University (Natural Science)(author:  ZENG Kun, ZHOU Yue-hai and Tong feng) has been listed in the Top 3 Most Read for the month of March 2015. This article proposes the system design of OFDM underwater acoustic voice communications based on floating-point DSP. The system design takes advantage of differential modulation between the time and frequency domain, to decrease the impact of varying multipath underwater acoustic channel. At-sea experiment results show the improvement of underwater acoustic communications.

The article entitled Underwater Acoustic Speech Communication Using Time Reversal and Time-frequency Differential OFDM Methods was listed as the hot article of the Journal of Applied Acoustics in Volume 4, 2015. The authors of this paper are ZHOU Yuehai, JIANG Weihua1, CHEN Lei and TONG Feng. This paperincorporates multi-channel timereversal with time-frequency differential orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)technology to design an underwater acoustic speech communication system. The simulation and sea trial demonstrate the effectivenessof the method in presence of time varying multipath underwater acoustic channel.

Both the Journal of Xiamen University (Natural Science) and theJournal of Applied Acoustics are important Chinese journal in related area. With two papers being selected as the 'hot article', the progress achieved by the Speech Lab in underwater speech communication has drawn more attention from the research community.
